Moral Panic, Whisper Campaigns, Wicked Problems

Lake Country Art Gallery Members Exhibition

Moral Panic: A widespread feeling of fear, often an irrational one, that some evil person or thing threatens the values, interests, or well-being of a community or society. *

Whisper Campaigns: A method of persuasion in which damaging rumours or innuendo are spread about the target, while the source of the rumours seem to avoid being detected while they are spread. *

Wicked Problems: A social or cultural problem that is difficult or impossible to solve because of its complex and interconnected nature. Wicked problems lack clarity in both their aims and solutions, and are subject to real-world constraints which hinder risk-free attempts to find a solution. *

words by Wanda Lock, curator

This whole show is thought-provoking and relevant, challenging and encouraging as well. This is a members show which features varied works, so there is something for everyone. I was personally fascinated to learn how different artists are using AI in surprising and unexpected ways. If you are in Lake Country this Spring, please stop by and take a look.
