Taking inspiration from my visits of waterfronts in my travels through British Columbia and beyond, the Thresholds series is about the experience of the shoreline as a liminal space in between worlds. In between what is seen and unseen, the solid ground beneath our feet and the unknown depths of the water in front of us. In Celtic traditions, the shoreline is a place to pray, to connect with the possibility of the future and to dream of what is yet unknown.
